Altura Communication Solutions, a nationwide provider of communication enabled solutions and managed services, today launched Altura Sentinel Edge Cloud, a hosted suite of cloud-based managed services. Powered by Virsae, a global developer of UC service management applications, Sentinel Edge Cloud enables businesses to optimize the operational and technical performance of their Unified Communications (UC) system – for less.
Altura Sentinel Edge Cloud is a cloud-based, proactive systems monitoring solution and is part of the Altura Sentinel Edge managed services suite. Altura Sentinel Edge Cloud offers real-time insight into Avaya telephony, UC and contact center platforms. Billed monthly and per user, the service delivers real-time performance, allowing Alturas’ engineers the ability to pre-empt and troubleshoot small issues before they become big ones.
Altura’s Vice President of Services Tim Henion explains, “Altura Sentinel Edge allows organizations to get the most from their communications investments. From ensuring their technology is working at maximum performance to monitoring gateways that may reveal if the software is over or under-licensed, this new offering makes managing communications systems including patch management for our clients simpler and more cost effective.”
“Businesses rely on their Unified Communications technology to effectively function from day to day. Whether it’s through delivering high quality, reliable voice calls, equipping remote workers with the collaboration tools needed to be operational, or enhancing customer interactions in the contact center, Altura Sentinel Edge Cloud allows us to give our customers peace of mind around their UC system and ensures it is performing at the highest Quality of Service,” states Greg McClendon, Director of NOC Services at Altura.
‘We are delighted to work in partnership with Altura in extending their world class managed services to their customers,’ states John Delozier, Executive Vice President from Virsae. ‘Altura’s pedigree of innovation and expertise in managing communications services, aligns entirely with our vision of how organizations’ complex unified communications environments must be supported in the future.’
